We will meet as a team at 3:00pm in room #117, This is Coach Quarez's room, You can leave your gear in the room as it will be secured and locked. We will no longer leave gear out on the quad. Meeting in room #117 will start on the 19th of AUGUST!!!!!!
So we have our first RACE this STAURDAY!! The PREMIER INVITATIONAL at COTTONWOOD Complex!! We will be handing out uniforms this week to ALL those who are registered on register my athlete, have paid there fees and have turn in a copy of their Physical. If you have NOT completed these tasks you need to get them done ASAP. WE have to have ALL runners registered for the PREMIER invite by weds. at 5pm. If you want to run this Saturday you must have everything completed by weds. PLEASE get this done so most if not ALL of you can run!!!

That being said, Continue to hydrate! Continue to prepare your self's both physically and mentally. The season is upon us!!
We want you to recognize the process that has taken place...not so that you can feel complacent or that you are already "there."  It's to help you understand that you are ready to believe in yourself, in each other, in this Team, and run with confidence...that when you get on that starting line, sure you'll have those same nerves acting up, but that you will also FEEL a calm, a strength, a drive that wasn't there before! See the good that you are doing!  It's hard sometimes to see the change! Sometimes it's hard to feel the change! It is there! We can't wait for you to see and feel the change. We are excited for you! We are excited for this upcoming season!!

Let's continue to be consistency run, let's get excited about the transformation process!!

Don't forget the impact we ALL can have on others!! PLEASE view the video below!! WE impact everyone we come in contact with!!

The SEASON is almost here! My thoughts have been focused on a phrase, that of “Continue to Strive.”  Continue that HARD work that you are doing. Continue to believe that good things WILL happen for you!
What does it truly mean to be a SPARTAN?
Well in ancient time, the Greek city-state of Sparta had a reputation for the severe and highly disciplined way of life it enforced among its citizens, to keep them ready for war at any time. Physical training was required for both men and women. A spartan was a person of great courage and well trained in discipline and honor as part of a warrior society.
We are not going to WAR, but we can continue to bring honor, self-discipline, courage, and prepare ourselves by being well trained individually and as a team. What do you want the reputation of this team to be? I envision it to be very similar to the ancient definition. A team that is fiercely competitive, loyal, well trained, extremely honorable, exhibits discipline, displays courage, respects others, and brings honor to many; the community, family, school, team and individual.

As we enter the last full week of morning practices, PLEASE hydrate. Get some good rest, sleep, nutrition, and trust us coaches during this training process. We are SO excited for this upcoming Season. We are excited to be a part of the “SPARTAN XC FAMILY”
One last thought, PLEASE REACH OUT TO OTHERS. Let them know what is going on. Also PLEASE get your PHYSICALS DONE and REGISTER on REGISTER MY ATHELTE!
WE”VE COME TO FAR TO QUIT!!!!!!!!!!
NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS, OR HOW BAD IT GETS, I’M GOING TO MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!

WE MUST HAVE PATIENCE AND TRUST THE PROCESS!!!
MURRAY SPARTAN XC!!

What does it take to be great? Check out the video!
