We have another race Friday, August 16th. It is the RAC Invite. We are Hosting. 

There is a fee of $5.00 per car. SO, stuff that car full. 

If you are driving a car, it is $5.00 dollars to enter. SO PLEASE be prepared. Payment by Card only. I SEE Spectator Payment LINK Left side of the BLOG

We still have runners that need to complete their RMA Register. My athlete completed ASAP!

If you want to run at the RAC INVITE, you MUST complete your RMA.

Monday August 12th 7:00AM LAST Pipeline trail run Up Millcreek Canyon. (Meet at Olympus Shopping Center 3536 Jupiter Dr, Millcreek, Meet to the right of the Grocery Store. Park in front of the Bowling Alley. Parking lot to Car pull. (Millcreek Canyon free to go in is FREE as long as we are out of the canyon by, I believe 8 or 9AM, If not it will be $5.00 per car to leave the canyon)

Wednesday August 14th 3:00PM Meet in Room #117 Murray High School. Southwood Park with Pushes. 

Thursday August 15th 3:00PM Meet in Room #117 Murray High School. Easy run.

2023 Summer Miles #4

 

Running Summer Miles? Why? Have you asked yourself this question? What is your REASON?  REALIZING YOUR REASON FOR DOING IT MAKES IT MORE POWERFUL AND MEANINGFUL!   When you truly know WHY you are doing it...IT ISN'T SO HARD TO GO OUT THERE AND DO IT... ESPECIALLY WHEN NO ONE IS MAKING YOU OR TELLING YOU TO DO IT!   Because when it gets tough (and believe us, it will get hard!), your WHY is what will get you through those moments...it will help you remember that your goals and dreams are worth getting out the door for, adjusting your schedule, working around trips, communicating your desires to others (like parents and coaches), sacrificing late nights, early mornings or media stuff...all because you have taken that first step to recognize your WHY!  It can be for many reasons (mileage goals, streaks, health, HARC, etc.), but let it be something that matters to YOU!  If you don't, then these first few weeks will be ok and the excitement of the summer will wear off and you will start to get behind or frustrated and our human nature will get discouraged and next thing you know, you may not be running like you wanted to (WE TALK LIKE WE HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE!  😉)

So, especially as we start this week together, PLEASE LOOKOUT FOR EACH OTHER, HELP EACH OTHER, ENCOURAGE EACH OTHER, so that all your WHY's become strong and unbreakable!KEEP RUNNING, GET out and RUN, IF WE DON'T DO IT CONSISTENTLY EVERY DAY? We will NOT see the gains; OUR improvement will be slow. There are NO shortcuts to Greatness!  As coaches we are not here to tell you that there is one perfect training plan or you must do exactly what we tell you to do...we want YOU ALL to know that we have worked hard over many years to tweak, adjust our workouts, to make them better. We try to do things in this program that simply WORK!  Being together, building consistently over the weeks and months, showing up every day, keep inspiring each other and YOURSELF!  

IF YOU FOCUS on the PROCESS the RESULTS will COME!!
